“A date with Arduino”, a free Workshop and Bootcamp on Arduinos was the first event of ELSOC in the year 2021 held on the 5th and 6th of June. The workshop was held by the members of ELSOC on 5th June 2021, between 3.30 pm and 7 pm on Google Meet. Soon after the workshop, participants were provided with four problem statements. The difficulty levels were set keeping in mind, beginners and experienced participants. They were expected to create and simulate circuits to solve the problems. The time frame for this boot camp was 8 pm, 5th June 2021 to 10 pm, 6th June 2021. This was held on Discord, a digital instant messaging platform and Google Classroom. Constant support and interaction was provided to the participants with doubt clearing sessions. The participants walked away with the confidence to rig up Arduino circuits and code for the same.
